Enjoy Japanese Temple Visit at Okuyama Houkouji
A cycling tour to the temple will be held simultaneously!
Okuyama Houkouji is one of the most famous Zen temples in the Tokai region. The participant will take a walk with a guide through the green and quiet mountain path to the main hall, and experience Zen meditation in the main hall. (Vegetarian cuisine for lunch is available upon request).
In addition, a cycling tour to the temple (including vegetarian cuisine for lunch) will be held simultaneously.
The participant will ride a rental bike with a guide from Kiga Station to Okuyama Houkouji.
How about taking a relaxing ride through the peaceful idyllic rural scenery?
In May, "What's Hamamatsu?" event will provide a quiet moment that take you slightly away from everyday life and calm your mind.

① Need a ride from our staff to the temple: Meet at 9:30am at Hamamatsu Station (pick up number is limited and advanced contact is required).
② Take a bus from Hamamatsu Station to the temple: Meet in front of the entrance reception of the temple at 10:40am.
※Take the 9:20 a.m. bus bound for #45 Kanasashi Jinguji Okuyama at Bus Terminal Platform 15, get off at Okuyamaa, and walk for about 5 minutes.
③Meet directly at the temple: be in front of the entrance reception at 10:30am.
