Calm and casual beaches where you can look out over Lake Hamana
The sea of Enshu, which the west coast of Shizuoka prefecture, is one of a beautiful coast which has a stretch of nice sandy beach and a deep blue sea. However, swimming is prohibited because of the sudden changes in the depth of water and riptides can cause a danger undertow. But there are still some small and safe swimming beaches inside Lake Hamana which is a brackish lake connecting to the sea. All of the beaches are little known and are good places where you can enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of Lake Hamana.

- The area outside of the roped off swimming area is restricted. Do not swim beyond the boundaries.
- The following activities are prohibited: Barbeque, fireworks and smoking. Pets are also prohibited.
- Take your garbage with you when you depart.
