THE HAMANAKO is a resort hotel that's located on the east side of Lake Hamana and you can enjoy the lake view from all rooms. It was boldly renovated mainly around the lobby in 2012, and re-opened with grand renewal including an open-air bath and a large public bath by the design concept of「Oriental Modern & Resort」. It was reborn with a tropical atmosphere that focuses on a Bali style bath, which makes the space more intimate.
The vaunted guest rooms with all lake views are about 36 square meters big (western style room) which families and groups can use feeling relaxed and free. There is also a banquet hall that is over 1,000 square meters, and you can use it for parties or meetings.

HOT SPRING (ONSEN)
The onsen (hot spring) at THE HAMANAKO is an original springhead "Yuto Onsen" which gushes out from 500 meters underground.
In the spacious open-air area, there are beds in the water and a pot bath on top of the open-air bath where you can relax. In the tropical resort atmosphere surrounded by greens, you can see the stars in the night sky and during the daytime you can enjoy the onsen freely under the blue skies. You can use the indoor bath full of warm soothing waters, choose from the various different types of baths, as well as utilize the sauna inside the large public bath. At the women's bath, you can enjoy various baths that are gentle to the skin, such as the carbonated spring and a silk bath. Also, there are partitions in the washing area so that you can relax and not have to care about the person sitting next to you.

The changing room has lights and an interior with a calm atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed after taking a bath. Also, there is a powder room only for women that can be freely used.

Meals are also popular at THE HAMANAKO. There are some people who come from far places only to enjoy having lunch here. You can choose from Japanese Kaiseki (formally arranged cuisine), French, and also Chinese. Please enjoy the delicious dishes with a stunning view of the rich nature around. There are also enriched facilities such as a a tea lounge.
