There will be workshops about nature, tradition, food culture, and lifestyle in order to give urban and mountain area residents the chance to interact and deepen their relationship.
Mountain area:Haruno/ Tatsuyama/ Inasa/ Tenryu/ Misakubo/ Sakuma
Who can participate:Those who live in the local area (excluding residents of Tenryu-ku or north Inasa-cho in Kita-ku, Hamamatsu)

Misakubo
Wild bird forest walking tour:
- Walk in the broadleaf tree forest -
Guided walk through the wild bird forest
In Misakubo, surrounded by beautiful mountains, you will take a walk through the forest of wild birds amongst beautiful beech trees that have been virtually untouched by man with a guide who knows the local mountains inside and out.

Haruno

Introduction to and guidance around local area/ Interacting with migrants and local people/ Experience helping the local community
This is a workshop for those who are thinking of moving to Haruno and want to learn more about the area. It is an excellent opportunity to hear directly from the locals and other people who have relocated to the region. You will also experience helping out in certain areas that need it at this time of year.

Experience the charm of Sakuma through food!
Making soba noodles/ Walking through the town/ Visiting an abalone farm
We will begin by learning about how to make soba, which is a specialty of the Sakuma area. Then, we will take a stroll through the town with the insider knowledge of a local guide as well as learn about the mysteries of the abalones that grow in the mountains.

Tenryu
Spend time with a lumberjack in the Tenryu Forest: - Evening Edition -
Walking through the forest/ Bonfire lecture/ Bonfire
In the evening session of "Outing in the Tenryu Forest," you will learn about bonfire safety from a lumberjack and then enjoy an actual bonfire, where you get to relax in the tranquil evening forest of Tenryu.

Learn all there is to know about the intangible cultural heritage of "Kawana Hiyondori"!
Kawana Hiyondori lecture/ A stroll around the related sites and locations
You will learn about the traditional culture of Kawana Hiyondori, which has been passed down for generations in the Kawana area of Inasa. In discovering the various meanings, you will undoubtedly be captivated by this tradition, which is held every year on January 4th.

A salk on the ecosystem in the forest/ A salk on the hunting/ Wild game meat tasting
This workshop is geared towards families with children of elementary school age or older who want to know more about life and food in the forest. You will learn from local hunters, and the content has been designed for participants new to these topics.

Spend time with a lumberjack in the Tenryu Forest - Lunchtime Edition -
Walking through the forest/ Lunch/ Making chopsticks/ Making the forest witch's drink
Learn about and experience Tenryu's forests and trees with a Tenryu forester. We have prepared experiences unique to the forest, such as strolling through the woods, making chopsticks, and brewing up the witch of the forest's own drink!
